It's July!  To celebrate the Fourth of July, my husband and I rewatched several historical shows that were televised over the weekend of the Fourth-- John Adams on HBO and The Revolution on the History Channel were a couple that count among our favorites.  These shows remind me of a proud heritage and I'm proud to be American, and thankful, too-- despite a lot of the crap that goes on here, that I live here in the USA.  I can't imagine living anywhere else. Despite the problems we have here, people in other places can leave the caste/class/place their own society forces them into and come here where they can have a chance at a new start.  Are we perfect, no!  Are we working on it, YES! We have always been a "work in progress."  Each year at this time my hope is restored that those who are fighting for their rights here, and those in other parts of the world fighting for their rights and independence, will get them!

It's time to announce the winner of the June Contest!

Congratulations, Steve Spellane of Maitland, Florida USA!

Steve won with his correct guess of the Death card from the Infinite Visions Tarot by Gloria Jean!  Don't forget to enter this month's contest!  The odds of winning are GREAT!

Enjoy your summer and enjoy this issue!
