August is a busy month! In most of the USA, near the end of the month, kids are either experiencing their first few days of a new school year, or they are preparing to start soon. Older kids and adults are on their way or preparing for their fall semesters at college. Many businesses and government entities are in their last weeks of a fiscal year. My family and I are looking forward to seeing a Daniel Tosh show this month. The Federal government... ah, let's not go there!

In the Tarot world, Robert Place is running a fundraiser to make a new version of his Alchemical Tarot a reality (here's the link: http://igg.me/p/37651?i=shlk). He's offering major swag in exchange for a donation! The mass market edition of Joanna Powell Colbert's Gaian Tarot is out and selling like gangbusters through many fine Tarot retailers. The BIG news though, is that the San Francisco Bay Area Tarot Symposium (SF BATS) is celebrating its 20th year this year, this August!

Oh wait, there is one more BIG thing to announce that is happening this August... the winner of the July Contest!

Congratulations, Ann from Texas!

Enjoy the issue!
