Frolicking Fae

faeAugust

As I sit and write this with a blanket over my lap, I think about how hot the rest of the country is.  Though I am grateful that it is not that hot here, I do indeed wish for just a little more sunshine.  My garden and I would be most appreciative.  To date though, I’ve been able to put up a total of 69 jars of freezer jam.  I am thinking about doing a few batches of blackberry jam at the end of the month.  I hope that lasts until next year!  This year, we were about 6 jars short of making it from one season to the next.  It also appears that I have won the battle with the deer, they are finally staying out of my garden.  YAY!

As August is already in full swing, I reflect back to the last part of the Fae message from last month  “...beginning of the month of August, you might find yourself in the presence of someone who wants to burst your bubble.”  It looks like that energy is still hanging around.  The Fae want you to rise above.  Let those people talk.  Just realize that the only person they are making look bad is themselves.  Smile, keep your head and save your energy for something positive.  Everyone else can see right through them, so you really have nothing to worry about.

For those of you who are having a tough time dealing with the heat, the Fae want you to remember to take care of you.  Hydrate and do your best to keep cool.  Wet a bandana and roll it up and drape it around your neck.  If you don’t have air conditioning, visit the library for a couple of hours, or something of the sort.  Sometimes we have to think outside of the box.  Also, please remember to check on those that are “shut-ins.”  Also, be mindful of our furry and feathered friends, provide extra water and shade for them.

Towards the middle of August, it looks to be a good time to gain new knowledge.  Pick a subject you’ve always wanted to learn about and study it.  I love Google and the likes for this.  It is so amazing that we have such technology at our finger tips.  Maybe with this heat you might consider reading up about the work of Masaru Emoto and the Messages from Water.  He has some fascinating information, including a pretty cool (pun intented) oracle deck.

This is also an excellent time for the written word.  Maybe dabble with some poetry, start character development for your NaNoWriMo novel, write a children’s story or simply email or write a letter to an old friend.

The end of the month or the first part of September should be filled with fun times with friends and family.  Plan a picnic or a bbq.  Think about visiting a lake or river and dip your feet.  :D  Feel the cool water wash any negativity away from you.

A nice stone to carry this month is the Aquamarine

Fae

This is the stone of courage.  It has a very calming energy that can help calm the mind and reduce stress.  It was carried by sailors as a talisman against drowning.  It can help with a sore throat, swollen glands and thyroid problems, as well as issues with vision.  It can also ease hay fever symptoms.

As always, I hope you find that this message from the Fae helps guide you through the ups and downs of this month!  Remember to say a special little thank you to our Fae friends for their guidance, insight and entertainment!

See you again next month and keep the faith!
