In This Issue

Traditionally, this time of year is seen as a time to give thanks and to come together in unity and fellowship... I couldn't agree more. However, I would like to consider that this is also the time of The Fool, literally, as I show in the choices of splash image on the ATA page and the banner here. In the past, I have used The Fool to represent the Pilgrim's journey: "The trip may be hard and maybe risky, but let's do it anyway." Think of this time as a time of putting ourselves out there and taking risks, because to do so can really pay off big for us. That takes a LOT of courage, and it's a LOT of work, but it can be a LOT of payoff, too. Is it any wonder that the NaNoWriMo is held in November? Dare to dream about writing that book! But what about upcoming January? Yeah, it could be about January too, but for me, January is more about having the opportunity to be reborn and to tweak those things that need tweaking. It's also so, so expected in January. :o) I think we have lots of opportunities to change things and take our own personal voyages of change and discovery throughout the year, I just really think there is something special about this time of year. The changes of the seasons are all around, changes in work can be (some companies' fiscal years start around this time of the year). In my own case, I started a weight loss program at the beginning of this month; yes, even with Thanksgiving and the holidays coming, and all the traditional yummy foods these days represent! I think I'm up for it!

Enough about that, time to announce the winner of the October Contest!

Congratulations, Jacqui Diamond of Shetland, Scotland!

Her new Wildwood Tarot is on its way to her as I write this! Kudos and many humble thanks to Mark Ryan, John Matthews, and Will Worthington (the creators of the Wildwood Tarot) for offering to send an autograph card to Jacqui! Check out their website for the Wildwood Tarot, www.thewildwoodtarot.com! Fist bumps all around!

Enjoy the issue and Jeanne Fiorini's puzzle, which is SO COOL!
