Happy holidays to all!  No matter what holidays are celebrated, be sure to do so safely.  Here in Washington state where I live, the temperatures have been frigidly cold and we are receiving some of the first snows of winter.  In fact, as I write this, it is snowing outside.  Keep your Christmas or Yule greens watered well and plan to take extra time to travel if the conditions outside warrant caution.  You are the only you there is and you should protect yourself and your loved ones with that in mind.

This month brings a close to a very busy year for me.  I traveled more this year than I have in the last 10 and it was a lot of fun.  Terri C and I went to Newark, New Jersey for the 2009 Readers' Studio organized by Ruth and Wald Amberstone (it was a BLAST and I highly recommend it!), met many of our forum friends from Aeclectic Forum, including its creator, Solandia.  We also traveled together, by car, to San Francisco this past October to attend the Bay Area Tarot Symposium (BATS) produced by Thalassa in conjunction with the Daughters of Divination.  It was a BLAST, too, and I highly recommend it, also!  Terri C and I also participated in the NaNoWriMo this past November and have both "won" by writing over 50,000 words in 30 days--Terri did more than 60,000!  One of the highlights this year for me was that Terri and I are both two of 111 featured authors in a new book titled One Page Wisdom: Inspirational One-Page Writings from 111 People Worldwide released this December.  It's an honor to be included in the heady company in that book!

Enough about me, let's get back to business and announce the winner of the November Contest!  The winning answer was the Seven of Swords from the Golden Tarot by Kat Black and published by U.S. Games Systems, Inc.

Congratulations, Karen Borusiewicz of Shamokin, Pennsylvania, USA!

Her prize, the stunning Llewellyn Tarot published by Llewellyn Worldwide, should be on its way to her as I write this.  We love giving decks away, so continue playing!

This month is a bit smaller due to the holidays, but still chock full of great stuff, so please enjoy this issue and your holiday season!
