Frolicking Fae

By Terri Clement

Using Magical Times Empowerment Cards by Jody Bergsma…

Summer is starting to wind down and truthfully I am looking forward to autumn. It’s my favorite time of year. Normally, my days would be filled right now with canning and drying veggies from my garden, however the deer have beaten me to it this year. Every time it gets close to harvest, they come in and help themselves. I am trying my best to let go of the disappointment as I know they need to eat, too, and humans are encroaching on their turf all around them.

Let’s take a look and see what the Fae have to offer up for the month of August…

FF

The beginning of the month is a time to pay attention to the song of your heart. Love yourself and others unconditionally, without expectation of receiving love in return. Find ways to make yourself happy as true happiness must come from within.

Find a clean jar and write yourself “love notes” every day. For example, write something that you love about yourself or something you loved about your day. Take the “love notes” out and read them to yourself on Valentine’s Day.

In the middle of the month, it’s time to walk away from fear and step up into your own personal power. Be bold! Take action as if you could not fail. The worst thing that could possibly happen is that you might have to begin again and that is just fine. Nothing is to be gained living in a state of worry, so let it go and see what happens.

As we approach the end of the month, summer wanes and we cruise towards fall. It is a point to embrace change. Allow things to flow naturally. Don’t try to swim upstream.  Transformation can be a beautiful thing, if we don’t fight it. It might also be a good time for the last summer hurrah! Maybe go on an end of season camping trip or visit the beach.  Have a last little bit of summer fun before the change of the season.

A nice stone to carry this month is Goldstone.

goldstone

Goldstone is actually a man-made stone, originally created by monks. Its sparkles are actually flecks of copper.  This is said to be the stone of ambition. It can help build energy, self-esteem, and courage. It is a gentle and uplifting stone.

Goldstone can help reduce stomach issues and can aid arthritis. It can be good for painful joints and circulation.

*Stone healing properties are not intended to replace the advice of your doctor.

As always, I hope you find that this message from the Fae helps guide you through the ups and downs of this month!!  Remember to say a special little thank you to our Fae Friends for the guidance, insight and entertainment!

See you next month and keep the faith!
