Frolicking FaeTM

Winter Solstice has come and gone for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. I for one am grateful. I am grateful for the return of the sun. I am grateful to have longer, brighter days. I am grateful too, that we have even had a little sunshine the past couple of days. Unfortunately, my roto-tiller is broken AGAIN, so I could not till the garden. The weather is perfect for getting out there turning over the soil and putting down more mulch. Hopefully, I will be able to get it done before the rains set it. I am not really looking forward to that! The holidays were wonderful here at my house and my children spoiled me rotten and yes there were some VERY sentimental presents under that tree that brought tears to my eyes. It was a very special time with family that is for sure.  Now things are settling back into their normal routine… whatever that is???

Let’s see what the Fae have to offer up for January, 2013…

The beginning of the month, you might feel that your third eye is WIDE open and that you are receiving messages left and right.  You are feeling that way, because your third eye is WIDE open. The Solstice opened it up and if you are feeling it is too overwhelming, then sit down take a few deep breaths and set to having it close just a bit. Not everyone can handle it being WIDE open like that, so find a place where you are comfortable. However, take note it is a GREAT time to be doing readings right now. LOADS of information is coming forward and you are able to get deeper into situations than you normally would. So if you are a professional reader, offer some readings get out there and flex that muscle! If you are not, maybe find a small group of readers and do some exchanges. Good information will come from these! This particular energy seems to run until mid month, so take advantage!

The middle part of the month, you may feel some post holiday let down. The decorations have been put away, family is back on a normal schedule, kids are back in school…  So on and so on. Find something special to do just for you, especially if you are feeling a little blue. Maybe it’s time to sit down with a GREAT book or your favorite Tarot deck and immerse yourself…

This is also a time to do a little self evaluation. Did you over indulge a bit over the holiday? Is it time to dust off that tread mill. Do we need to look at portion sizes? Is it time to throw out some of those sweets??? What about water intake? Are you getting enough?  It’s really a time to take care of you. Put you first, what does your body need? Okay, now that you have your answer, do it!  ;)

The last part of the month - pay attention to the little signs that keep showing up around you. The fae say there is a message right in front of you and you keep ignoring it. This is especially for those who are hesitating or feel that their life is on “pause.” Open your eyes, ears and all of your other senses, for the message you are seeking is and has been right in front of you the whole time. They also want you to know that you are protected and cared for.

A good stone to carry for this month is the Snowflake Obsidian.

snowflake obsidian

This stone is shiny and black and has tiny crystal snowflakes patterns. This stone is excellent for balance during changes, transformation and manifestation. It is a calming stone. It can help you notice and let go of negative thinking and other stressful patterns. It can help with joint pain (arthritis) and hardening of the arteries. It can also help with muscular aches and spasms.
