March is always such an interesting month. We wait to see if it is going to come in like a lion… Around my part of the country, it actually came in quite calm and we have actually had a couple of really pretty days. I can’t wait to get busy out in that garden of mine! It is also a very busy month for the Faeries. The Flower Fae are busy helping their plants begin to bud. A special date for the Fae happens in the month of March, with the beginning of spring when we have the Equinox or what some call Ostara. This is when Mother Earth begins to waken and we have a perfect balance of light and dark. It is also sowing time in the north; earth cycle of plant and animal fertility; a time of spell producing; new beginnings. This is a very good time to leave a special offering out for the Fae.

Let’s see what the Fae have to say for the month of March…

FFspread

The beginning of the month should be a great time for you to get motivated and tackle some of those things on your “to-do” list.  This is a time to get things done, getting them done efficiently and doing a good job. When you start ticking these things off of your list you will feel a sense of pride, but you will also realize that a tremendous amount of stress will have been lifted off of your shoulders.

Suet bird nesting material

This is also a good time to pull down all of your bird feeders and give them a good cleaning and then refill them and put them back.  Your little feathered friends will be very happy with you! You might want to consider putting yarn scraps in a suet feeder for the birds to use as nesting material.

The middle of the month would be a good time for you to get out somewhere near water. This might be a good time for you to examine any trust issues that you might be having and determine a way to begin overcoming these. Maybe find some rocks and hold them and think about the issue that you want to let go of, then throw it as hard and far as you can out and into the water. If it helps you could take a Sharpie and write on the rock. You may even want to try your hand at scrying by using a dark colored bowl and water.

Also, make sure that you are fully hydrated. A good practice to start is when you think you are hungry, have a glass of water. If you wait until you are actually thirsty, you are already dehydrating. This is also a fine time to plan out what you want to do for Equinox and determine what you would like to do for the Little People on this special day.

The end of the month is a time to focus on the blessings in your life. Allow the light to come in and fill your space. Focus on what you have and be grateful for that. You have many blessings and in order to keep that cycle going, it is important to be gracious.

There also appears to be some sort of new project that will be taking up some of your time in the evenings. This has a lot of potential and will bring you a lot of joy, so don’t simply dismiss whatever this is that comes your direction by thinking you don’t have enough time. You do.

A nice stone to wear of carry this month is Peach Calcite.

calcite

Calcite is formed in water and is water soluble. It should be treated carefully as it can break or chip easily. This stone is an energy amplifier and helps increase energy. It protects, purifies, grounds and centers and can bring one inner peace. It can also help remove fear, overcome depression, dissolve problems that stand in the way of reaching ones highest potential. It can be very helpful in removing phobias and helps restore mental and emotional equilibrium. This is an excellent stone when studying the arts or sciences. It clears chakras. It can also be used to blend the energies of the mind and heart, giving one thought with feeling and conscious perception with loving action.
