Frolicking Fae

It is definitely true that “April showers bring May flowers,” here in the Pacific Northwest. We had a rainy but warm April, but now I am seeing my lilac in full bloom, the mini rhododendron looking fine and the big rhodies are about to bloom. I love seeing the progression of blooms the the Fae help provide in my yard! The veggie garden is still struggling a bit. I really need to learn to hold off with the planting! :D

Let's take a look and see what the Fae have to share with us for the month of May.

May15FF

The beginning of the month is a wonderful time to sit down and put pen to paper. Write out your dreams, goals, and aspirations. This is a time to let it all out, don't hold back. Don't edit yourself. Let your ideas flow from you onto the paper. Good ideas, things you know you can easily do, more challenging things, and even those that you think might be impossible. The important thing is getting all of these “dreams” out of you so that you can see them, right in front of you.

This could also be a nice tie to start a dream journal if you are not already keeping one. You might just learn a lot from your own subconscious. It's also not too late to plant a garden no matter how large or small. Remember, to keep a little wild child section just for the Fae.

Think about the old adage “If you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done. If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll keep getting what you are getting.” Teach yourself to see things differently.

The middle of the month brings a highly creative period. Go back over your lists from the beginning of the month and see what you might be able to put into motion. Some of the things that you wrote earlier in the month might take some ingenuity in order to complete, but the magic is in you. Let your imagination soar and look for a wacky plan or two to get some of these ideas moving. You might also want to try tackling one of your “impossible” dreams while you are at it. Truly, you can do anything that you set your mind to.

You may also find it beneficial to being physically artful at this time. What do you do? What do you make? Create? Schedule time in to work on these things. Put yourself I “creative mode.” Try to look at things through a different pair of eyes. Play with ideas and don't hold yourself back. Working with your creativity is one way to recharge your own personal internal battery. This is a fantastic way to keep your energy flowing. Take some time to sing, dance, and notice the beautiful little things growing all around you.

During the end of the month let the Spirit of Faerie help put energy behind your dreams and brilliant plans. Ask the Fae to come in and help you move forward in a positive way, one that is for your best and highest good.

You may find this an incredible time to do readings for yourself and/or others. Experimenting with new reading techniques can make things fun for you and keep things fresh. Try a new deck, add a numerology edge to your readings, or maybe a bit of astrology – just switch things up a bit.

Focus on who you are at your very core during the last week of the month. That person sometimes can be very hard to find. You may have to dig pretty deep to find the real him or her. ...but when you do, it will be so very worth the effort! Learn from your unchangeable past, but move forward better prepared as you move into next month.

A positive stone to carry this month would be Tourmaline.
