May's Forecast

By Terri C.

with Messages from the Wee Folk by Jennifer Murphy

As I begin writing this months article, it is the Full Moon.  The spring flowers are abundant in my yard.  The birds have been emptying my feeders almost as fast as I can fill them.  My youngest daughter has begun the count down to her last day of school this year.

Today is all about releasing, letting go.  This energy carries over a bit into the month of May.  With this month's Full Moon being in Scorpio it’s all about turning inward, internalizing and re-evaluating.  You might find that others have difficulty accepting your new ideas, if you are experiencing this, wait a few days then present your ideas again.

As we approach the beginning of the month, you might find that you spend more time listening than talking.  This can be a good thing.  Our creator gave us two ears and one mouth, so truly we should be listening twice as much as trying to communicate.  Listen to yourself, listen to your family, your friends, your co-workers.  Go outside, try to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and listen to the sounds that you here.  Listen to the sounds the trees make.  Listen to the birds.  Hear what the wind is trying to tell you.  Listen to your Faerie friends, they have much to share and many lessons to teach.

Once you hear the messages coming in, especially from the Wee Folk, it’s time to put some of those lessons into action.  You might at first feel that you do not have the knowledge or skills to move forward, but rest assured, you do.  Tap into that inner strength and the strength of the universe around you.  Move forward, slowly if you need to, but move.  It’s time to do something different.

As you face the slow move forward towards the middle of the month, let go of any fears you have.  Fear is an internalized state, instead replace that fear with courage.  When you face your fears head on, you will realize that they are much smaller than you anticipated.  A wonderful speaker I heard years ago said fear is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.  Write that down and post it someplace where you can see it on a daily basis.

As you move through your fear and face it with courage, you will find yourself in a position of abundance.  This happens because our thoughts create our reality and when we are no longer fearful, wonderful things can than come forward.  You are ready for that right?  Of course you are.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everything coming your direction was positive and your life was filled with abundance?  It can be.  Allow it to happen.

As we bring the month of May to a close be thankful for the experiences that have come your direction, the lessons that you have learned and the abundance that you have experienced.  By expressing your gratitude, you can expect more of the same in the weeks and months to come.

All month long, be sure to hydrate yourself.  The Faeries want to remind you that coffee and tea actually flush your system of water.  Drink water!  When you get up in the morning, have a glass of water, before you eat breakfast.  If you so choose, add a squeeze of lemon, this will actually help quench your appetite.  Most of us reach for food, when in fact, we are thirsty.

Variscite

A nice stone to carry for the month of May would be a Variscite.  The color varies from a light bluish green to medium and dark green with ribbons of white.  This stone can help you remember past lives.  Balance the nervous system, ease depression, fear, worry and anxiety.  It's a good stone to use during meditation.

The Tree Fae say, if you want to find them, find an Oak Tree… The symbol of Universal Love.  Look for them in the wee hours of the morning, there you will find them.

As always, I hope you find that this message, from the Fae helps guide you through the ups and downs of this month!  Remember to say a special little thank you to our Fae Friends for the guidance, insight and entertainment!

See you again next month and keep the faith!
