Frolicking Fae

By Terri Clement

Using the Faery Wisdom Deck by Amy Brown...

It has been a busy time around here lately. There are lots of things getting done, but many more things are NOT getting completed. The garden has finally sprouted. I had to completely replant everything. Not sure what didn’t work right the first go round. Even my colder weather plants like the spinach, kale and chard didn’t come up the first planting.  Yikes… It just dawned on me that I didn’t ask the Fae to come and bless my first planting - that might have something to do with it.

Let’s see what the Fae have in store for us for the month of July…

July2014FF

The beginning of the month things are just as they appear. This is not a period to dig deeper or look for profound messages. Things are exactly as they seem to be. Decisions during this time should be easy to make. Choose the obvious. Places in your life where you have previously felt stuck should be releasing during the early part of the month. Enjoy this new sense of freedom and movement. Take this opportunity to get things done.

The middle of the month continues along with the same energy of getting things done and marking things off of your “To Do” list. This is a time to put down the studies, the books, and all of the things that keep you physically inside and locked in your own mind. Get out and experience life. Maybe pick an inexpensive tourist type activity in your nearest town or city and go do something out of the ordinary.

Take this same opportunity to get yourself out in Nature. Walk in a forest, sit by a river, or even visit a park. Take some time and enjoy the surroundings.

Toward the end of the month, you might discover that you have way too much on your plate. You might even begin feeling a little overwhelmed. Take this as a sign that you may need to make some changes to your schedule. You might want to try cutting some things out of your schedule that are no longer a priority. Simplify. Maybe try using your calendar a little more efficiently. Feel free to say “No” from time to time. You might also want to try using a menu system for easy grocery shopping and dinner plans. Keep things simple as we move closer to August.

A nice stone to carry this month is the Opal.

opal

This is an emotional stone and it will reflect the mood of the person wearing it. This stone encourages freedom and independence. It also helps one realize self-worth. It aids in creativity.

The opal helps with infections and fevers. It is also thought that it will help regulate insulin and can ease childbirth and PMS symptoms.

*Stone healing properties are not intended to replace the advice of your doctor.

As always, I hope you find that this message from the Fae helps guide you through the ups and downs of this month!! Remember to say a special little thank you to our Fae Friends for the guidance, insight and entertainment!

See you again, next month and keep the faith!
